Ok so I finished knitting my scarf last night for the ISE4. I am looking forward to washing out all of my dogs hair and blocking it. It was my real attempt at knitting lace. I like a lot of other people I think started scarves several timeswith different yarns and patterns before I decided on the pattern that Persnickety Knitter designed.

Ok, So I am horrible at taking pictures. This is Embeded Diamond Pattern from one of the most amazing books ever, A Second Tresury of Knitting Patterns By Barbra Walker, which for a back story I bought for a whopping two dollars at a local booksale by our library. When the owner of my LYS store saw it in my hands, her eyes grew hugs. Especially since I had a first edition. I didn't know I had a gem at the time.

Anywho, back to the scarf. This is my second attempt at lace. I don't want to frighten you with what happened the first time. Anywho. This is Lorna's Laces and the name of the color is escaping me.
