I finished these on January 13th. They were cuff down socks knitted one at a time via magic loop on a US 1 out of yarn from Lollipop yarns.
I am still in the self striping mode, the colors change and I just keep knitting them up!

Why hello there
I hope everyone is having a good week!
The weather here is lovely, 80 degrees and sunny, personally I wish it were a a bit cooler, trees are starting to pollinate. Everything is turning lime green around here.
Mo doesn't care about the weather. he just wants a snuggle buddy.

My day is always brighter when Mo visits me at work
I hope everyone has a new 2013!
2012 was interesting, I went away to knitting camp, otherwise known as Super Summer Knitogether, aka SSK. It was in Nashville which was hot. I met some nice folks and made long term friends. I took a drop spindle class, Intro to lace class and a technique class as well.
There were a lot of ups and downs in 2012 and I hope that 2013 moves in the right direction for everyone!

Sock in progress
I am a BBQ and sweet tea kind of gal. Simple food makes me happy. Every week for the past 7+ years I hit the local bbq joint for lunch. I know all the folks that work there they are super nice and treat me just right.
While waiting for a sweet tea this week, I decided to do some decorating. the Second sock I just started fits perfectly over Mr. Pigs ear, however the finished sock was too heavy and needed to rest.
The best thing, not one employee blinked an eye at me. A few chuckles and compliments on my sock.

Hello friends
It's been an interesting few months for me. I won some great ribbons at the Fair in November, spent time with my friends and family over the Holidays and have been spinning lots of pretty yarns.
Most importantly, my dearest friend, my confidante Snoopy Van Gogh passed away right before Christmas. He had been ill for a while and took a sudden turn. Dozens of times throughout each day, I think of him, look for him, wait for him to burp or do puppy wiggles. It's been rough, but I have Mo to snuggle with, and great friends and family to help me.
That is all I have for now, talk to you guys soon!

Punk Kaleidoscope
hello friends!
I have been super busy working and making yarns. And playing pinball, lots and lots of pinball. So much pinball that my hands were in claw positions for about a week. I went to a pinball festival in mid November. OOOOO so much fun! And OOOOO so much pain!
But this lovely yarn makes me forget all my pain. It's soft and squishy and it makes me smile.
Have a great day!
