Bad Pictures and a crazy pup!

Snoopy was kind enough to pose for several pictures this evening.

As you see here, I have no idea what I was doing, but there wasn't chance of a retake. He started going slightly mad after this picture was taken.

Now I didn't post about Snoopy last week. He was quite the naughty puppy. Last Sunday he snuck out of the house and ran off for a 3 and 1/2 hour adventure. Which of course made his mommy VERY upset. But he came home covered in mud and sorry for what he had done.

ON to knitting news. I completed a project!

It is called Heatwave, made with Bamboo yarn from the: South West Trading Company. I really liked the fabric it turned out. I will be washing and blocking it tommorow. I tried several times to get a picture taken of it but well, as you can see above it's just not going to happen. I hope that on Wednesday the best picture taker ever, can get a pic of it.

I just started a sock with Loute Gems somehow it hopped ontop of Snoopy, however does that happen?

Urgg

So here I am, battling a migraine and I realize in my boredom that I haven't posted a Snoopy story this week.

On Thursday Snoopy insisted on going with me to Publix( local grocery stores ). I managed to get some pics of him as he was enjoying himself. First he tried to take over the driving position,( as you see above) but when I reminded him of his lack of thumbs, he moved over to the stick your head out of the window position.

for some reason the pictures are out of order and are also in the wrong location. by frankly my head is pounding way too much for me to do squat about it.

Dear Yarn Harlot

Florida is very fun.

We have the following that can be enjoyed in any season, with or without your family members:

1. Knit Witz Yarn Shop. It is THE place to be, here in Jacksonville, Florida. It has all a girl can ask for ( Yarn, comfy chairs, a swift and ball winder, more fabulous yarn, roving, and a whole gaggle of people that love and adore you. We would even order those Cheese curdy things for you)

2. The ocean. It is pretty and shark free( I will personally make sure of that)

3. Ok yes in central Florida there is Disney, Universal, Sea World, and tons of fun dining.

4. Now closer to KNIT WITZ ( great name don't you think?) WE have a BOAT LOAD of fun things to do, The Beach is 20 minutes away, then there is Saint Augustine. I personally love to go here, but if that's not your cup o tea you can tour a Fort, visit the Oldest School house, walk down Saint George Street, take a Carriage ride, take a Ghost Tour, visit the Fountain of Youth, etc.

OK. I know I am not the only person who will be having a hard time coming to see you in Atlanta. WE would love to have you come down here and enjoy some fine southern eating. I am prepared to pull out the big guns like..... Chocolate, there is a moan worthy chocolate store down the street. I will throw down for some goodies for you.

Please keep us sweet southern gals here in Florida in your thoughts. We won't serve your grits unless you request them. There will be no peanuts in your pop, soda, coke, whichever you prefer to call it. Tea! I can get you some snazzy tea.

Please Yarn Goddess next time the Harlot drops a stitch or she thinks why am I here, put bug in here ear, to come here.

Yours in wool heaven,

Kimber

Feeling ill

I have been feeling ill for the past couple of days. I have a sore throat that I fear only some Fried squash can heal. No jsut kidding the only thing that I want are Popcicles and Applesauce, an odd combination but hey it works.
Yesterday afternoon I took a two hour nap, woke up for a bit then crashed again. So I have not done any needing, jsut laying around when I was awake and moaning. I did manage to find this picture of Snoopy.

There he is, King Snoopy doing what he does best, lay on my bed and look adorable.

I did manage to royally screw up my current socks, Embossed Leaves. With some help, I was able to get back on track!

Pics coming soon when its resembling more of a sock then a blog of yarn!

Cheers!

Just now

I have decided that once a week I shall have a Mandatory Posting of a cute picture of the yarn stealer that I share my living space with, Mr. Snoopy Van Gogh.

Snoopy was a homeless puppy that was living with some homeless men onthe westside of the town i live in. A lady that rescues animals saw him with these men for a couple of says in a row, then decided to talk to them, she ended up leaving with Snoopy and got him all healthy.

It was about a month later, that me and MR. EX were out killing time one weekend when we came across a pet adoption fair at a local Pet Smart and were looking at pets. Someone was looking at Snoopy and he was so cute but this other lady was all gushing over him so I walked past him. Mr. EX called out to me that the dog was following me.

I turned around, looked down and fell in love!

Snoopy joined our family three days later, and he came with me when I moved away. He is a great dog and a wonderful friend to have. He is a tear licker, hug acceptor, watermelon eating, pillow stealing furry friend.

So enjoy todays photo of Snoopy (actually it was taken last week) and look for more to come.
